Arundel Castle

We set off by coach on an overcast September morning to Arundel Castle hoping that the promised showers held off. We were in luck and once again our Social Secretary Norman had organised the weather as well, it was a bit grey but we didn't get wet! Arriving at the Castle at 10:30 we relaxed with a coffee before embarking on a tour of the Castle with a couple of very knowledgeable and entertaining guides. After lunch some of us explored the grounds and the walled gardens whilst others toured the bedrooms but they didn't get a chance of an afternoon nap!
