May 2024 Lunch

A lower attendance than usual as many members were off enjoying holidays in the sun. It was the first lunch from the new catering team at Cuddington Golf Club and the Braised Steak Jardiniere, slow cooked in a rich red wine and shallot sauce, with horseradish mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables followed by Glazed Lemon Tart with Chantilly Cream and dark Chocolate was enjoyed by all.

For our after lunch talk this month we welcomed back Jim Barnes to enlighten us this time on the history of early flight, including Barnstormers, Balloons and Pilots.


A fascinating talk and a pity that there were so few of us to enjoy it.
